Uni Games is an essential part of university life for any student who is interested in playing sport, having a good time, meeting new people and travelling Australia.

UOW will only be sending qualification team to this year’s Eastern University games. If you are interested in representing UOW see the trail dates and times below.

• Touch football Men and Women Oval 2/ 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Tuesday 24/4/12

• Soccer Men and Women Oval 2/ 12.30pm – 1.30pm

Thursday 26/4/12

• Soccer Men and Women Oval 2/ 12.30pm – 1.30pm
• Touch football Men and Women Oval 2/ 12.30pm – 1.30pm
• Hockey Men and Women Hockey Turf/ 3.30pm – 4.30pm
• Basketball Men and Women Sports Hub/4.30pm – 5.30pm

Wednesday 2/5/12

• Netball Sports Hub/ 12.30pm – 1.30pm

The 2012 Eastern University Games will be held from 1 - 5 July in Tamworth, NSW

The 2012 Eastern University Games (EUG), will be held at multiple venues, and will see over 2,000 students flock to Tamworth from 12 universities and TAFEs across NSW and the ACT. With 12 individual and team sports set to be contested, the event will bring massive tourism benefits to the region of Tamworth, and showcase the best Tamworth has to offer both on and off the sports field.

There are 5 qualification sports at EUG that you must finish in the top 2 to progress to the 2012 Australian University Games will be held from 23 - 28 September in Adelaide SA. These Sports are:

• Basketball
• Football
• Hockey
• Netball
• Touch Football
