UOW Sport
URAC has sporting programs to cater for a range of tastes and abilities.
Social - Lunchtime Sport
If you’re into social sport why not try our Lunchtime Sports competition? All the sports are mixed and the emphasis is on fun and participation rather than cut-throat competition! Get your friends together and get a team organised before week 2 of session! All games are played during lunchtime (12.30 to 1.30 pm weekdays) and the competitions are only 9 weeks long so they finish before the dreaded exam period.
Competitive - University Club Sport
If you’re more of a weekend warrior then the Sports Club can offer you regular competition. Most Sports Clubs on campus participate in competitions or events within the Illawarra region. Whilst the emphasis is on serious competition for several of these clubs, you will find that all of the clubs have a healthy social program so you’re guaranteed to make new friends.
National – Australian University Games
University Games is a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate against other university students from all over the country in the Australian University Games (AUG) and other student sporting events. The events are held at locations throughout Australia and are coordinated by Australian University Sport.
