URAC Swim School – The University of Wollongong
Welcome to the URAC Swim School! Our Swim School has been teaching children to swim for over 20 years opening in 1990 and still providing quality swimming programs today. Operating out of a heated 50m outdoor pool, we can cater for children from the age of 3yrs onwards.
We are proud to be Swim Australia and Austswim registered Swim School. All of our teachers hold a minimum qualification of Swim Australia/Austswim Teacher of water safety and CPR, with many of them also maintaining additional qualifications of senior first aid and pool lifeguard licenses. We are also thankful for our connection to New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS) and are proud to be a venue for the National Talent Identification and Development program (NTID).
Swim School Enrolments – Term 2 commencing April 23rd 2012
Enrolments for Term 2 can now be booked over the phone or in person at the Aquatic Centre. If you are a new member an assessment maybe required to determine the correct level for your child. Assessments are free and can be booked on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30pm – 5:00pm or on Saturday mornings from 9am – 11am. Returning customers can re-book over the phone or in person at the Aquatic Centre at anytime. Please note a deposit of $50 is required before any booking is confirmed.
Lessons Operate:
Term 2 lessons operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 3:30pm and 5:30pm and again on Saturday mornings between 9am and 11am. For specific class information please call 4221 4194 and speak to one of our Swim School Administrators. Learn to Swim classes are 30 minutes in duration and Squads ranging from 45 minutes to an hour depending on the level.

Lesson Costs:
Our lessons are charged at 10 week intervals. In order to confirm your spot, payment will need to be received either over the phone or in person at the Aquatic Centre.

We are located on University of Wollongong Campus grounds, Northfield Avenue WOLLONGONG.
